Privacy policy

CannaHelp Herbs and Oils (Pty) Ltd is a South African family apothecary. We are the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

You can reach us with any privacy question or request:

• Order details you give us: your name, contact number, email address, delivery address and any notes you add to the order form.
• Your messages: the WhatsApp conversation you start with us, including anything you choose to tell us about your health so we can suggest a suitable remedy.
• Your basket: the products you add are saved in your own browser so your basket is still there when you come back. It stays on your device and is only sent to us when you choose to send your order.

We do not ask for identity numbers, and we never take card or banking details through this website.

• To answer your questions and advise on products and dosage.
• To prepare, confirm and courier your order.
• To keep a record of what we sent you, so repeat orders are easier.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your agreement.

Anything you tell us about your symptoms or a health condition is sensitive. We use it only to help you choose a product, we discuss it only between Daleen and Lee, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Your delivery name, address and contact number are given to the courier so your parcel can reach you. Orders and messages you send reach us through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own privacy terms. Beyond that we do not pass your details to third parties, except where the law requires it.

We keep order records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet South African tax and record-keeping requirements. Messages and enquiries that do not become orders are kept only while they are useful to you and to us.

Under POPIA you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your information, where we are not required to keep it; and
• stop using your details for anything you did not agree to.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
