How it works
Every CannaHelp remedy is built on the same idea: give the body the plant compounds it already knows how to use, in a base it can actually absorb. Here is the thinking behind the bottles.

Your body already speaks this language
We all have an endocannabinoid system — a network of receptors that runs quietly through the brain, nerves, gut, skin and immune system. Its job is balance: it helps settle pain signals, mood, appetite, sleep and inflammation, and keeps the body's systems talking to one another.
The body makes its own cannabinoids to do this work. Stress, illness, poor sleep and age can leave that system running short. The cannabinoids in the hemp and cannabis plant are close enough in shape to slot into the same receptors, which is why a plant extract can support a system that is struggling to keep up.
This is support, not a cure. Our products are complementary preparations, they are not registered medicines, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent disease.
Why we add herbs and polyphenols
Cannabis rarely works best on its own. The herbs we blend in — the same ones herbalists have reached for in South African kitchens and gardens for generations — bring their own polyphenols and antioxidants, the colourful plant compounds that help the body handle oxidative stress and inflammation.
Put together, the plant compounds tend to support one another: a calming herb rounds off a tincture meant for sleep, a bitter herb helps a digestive blend, an anti-inflammatory herb strengthens a joint formula. That is why most of our range is a combination rather than a single extract.

The MCT coconut oil base
Cannabinoids are fat-loving — they need a fat to travel in, or most of what you take never reaches the bloodstream. Our tinctures are carried in MCT oil drawn from coconut: a light, fast-absorbing fat that the body takes up quickly and that does not go rancid the way heavier oils can.
It also tastes mild. Held under the tongue for a minute, a dose goes down easily without the grassy bite people expect from a plant extract.
Gentle enough for the family. The mild base and small drop sizes mean our CBD-only tinctures can be given to children and to older, frailer bodies at a lower dose. Products are sold to adults only, a parent or guardian should give any dose to a child, and please speak to your doctor first if there is chronic medication in the picture.
CBD or THC?
Both come from the same plant family and both work through the endocannabinoid system. The practical difference is simple: CBD does not make you feel high, THC does. Most people start with CBD, and add a THC-containing product only for night-time use or stubborn pain.

Everyone responds differently. Begin with the lowest dose on the label, hold it for a few days, and only then build up. Message Daleen or Lee if you are unsure — that advice is free.
